Still got 2 tickets going spare - I thought there would have been more takers

Don't have the details to hand - but it is an afternoon launch - will update later tonight.

Possibly interested in two of those if you still have any! But, for folks who have been at a launch here before: Which side of the river gives the best view?

The view is undoubtedly better from the north side of the river but if you can secure tickets the atmosphere and in particular the thunder of the chains in the yard is extraordinary.
I hear the people sing.

Hey Yoker, have you still got the 2 tickets on the go? I would love to go and take my Dad, he used to work in the yards. Can you let me know. Cheers

Hi ,

Do you still have the tickets for the launch of HMS Duncan. We are a nursery and are looking for some tickets as BAE systems didn't have any left.

Stumbled on this forum after hearing about the launch on the BBC news this morning and the best information usually comes from the people whove done it all before.
I dont have a ticket so the north shore seems like the only option for me.Can anyone recomend where to park? The SECC seems relatively close-does that seem like an option and walking along the clyde from there?O is there somewhere closer which 'gaurantees' parking for those getting there last minute?
Im travelling along the M8 from Livingston and dont know Glasgow that well so any travel info very gratefully received.
Thanks in advance for any and all advice.
Kenny

Check out Meadow Road and Beith Street in Partick on google maps. There is an underpass than can take you through to Glasgow Harbour. That's where I am aiming for.
