I saw them somewhere to the west while driving along Pinkston Road at 5.30pm this evening.

According to Radio Clyde, it was something to do with the Eddie Izzard gig at the SECC.

Anyone driving past the SECC this evening would have seen a cluster of four search lights aimed skywards, why, I have no idea, listening to the radio there were people finishing their paper rounds and driving home from work thinking that -
1. The martians are coming, some might even have seen their spaceship (faints momentarily)
2. They (drivers and paperboys/girls) were being followed
3. The world was about to end
4. All of the above
Some people need to get out more, or in this case stay in more!!

I saw the lights when I was in the city centre, and then in Ibrox, we ended up chasing them to the SECC :).
