Dodgy Carwash

Postby cercatrova » Tue Aug 11, 2009 8:54 pm

Hi Folks,
I've just returned from washing my car at the carwash located behind the BP garage at the end of castlebank st in Partick. On entering the reception i was greeted by a large and what seemed to be a friendly American member of staff, I was given a brief rundown of the service's an decided to go for the top wash. I Paid £8.99 cash and could'nt believe my eyes when the money that i handed (£5 note and 4 £1 coins) was deposited in the friendly americans deep pockets. I asked for a receipt to show that i'd paid to the guys washing i was told to move my car or get to F**k, I refused to F**k off and asked to speak to the Manager/Owner. This was when the big guy started to become a little flustered and proceded to take the money from his pocket and thrust it in my hands and gave me the immortal words of a doorman. F**k Off Your BARRED... Now im having a small dilema, 1. Do i report this serious matter of theft to the Manager/Owner or 2. Do i go back with my friendly American Baseball Bat and crack this thieving Yanky B*****d round the Heid?. PLEASE ADVISE...............:)

I'm disappointed to say there's no contact for grassing on a VAT dodger.

"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

taking on a money laundering carwash would be 2nd on my list of 'things not to do' just after 'dont tell local security firm your site wont be needing them'
though it probably amounts to the same thing...

Yes lonegroover £8.99 to wash your car I agree its a bit much but im thinking two carwashes a year at that price aint to much of a strain on the pocket But i can safely say it wont be getting washed in Partick . :) , Big Jim yer bang on it was the Rainbow.... If you go Keep an eye out for the big Yank with the handlebar tash. 8)

So let me see if I've got this right.

You gave him nine quid.

Some arguing happened.

He then gave you nine quid back.

Yes, phone the serious crime squad. This is a major theft. Of precisely no pounds.
