Well......actually I am but I kind of feel bad about it. As 'our family' paid the bugger, kept the receipts of all payments and still got the Sheriff and his merry men coming to us - despite the evidence.

Do we get the chance to reclaim? Is it unfair on those who did pay?

I am pleased they're cancelling the debt of those but the reality is, it should never have been introduced in the first place!

I was only 12 when the whole debacle happened so didn't directly affect me - nonetheless, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Tax evasion (or tax avoidance) happens on a much larger scale by big business, which probably makes the outstanding poll tax revenues look like a drop in the ocean.

Why do people find "Mrs. Brown's Boys" funny?

I genuinely do not get it.
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

Me to! It's a bloke dressed as a woman seems to be the running joke and the only joke in the whole thing...
He advocated for the weak against the strong, the poor against the rich and labour against capital.

It says something about the state of humanity, when in the middle of the second decade of the 21st century, the height of comedy is - when all is said and done - a drag act.

Right guys, we need some new laws passed.

Halloween stuff to be on sale no earlier than October 1st, and off the shelves by close of business November 1st.
Christmas stuff to be in shops no earlier than November 1st, and off shelves by close of business December 31st.
Christmas decorations to go up in shops/malls no earlier than December 1st, and down again by close of business Twelfth Night.

How's that grab you?
