4.3 today up here in East Kilbride. I suppose the data gets tired climbing the hill up to Nerston
(A colleague of mine years ago told one of our users to take his foot off a cable because it would be a struggle for the data to crawl through...)

The price is being dropped by a fair bit on the 1st of September NT.

i'm £37.00 for my internet and £11 for my phone a month, then my discounts come off and i'm 33.50 a month for both, so will my internet go down to £28 if I upgrade to 50Mb?
if so i'll be signing up next month!

If you are a XL or XXL customer with Virgin Media then will will be given a brand new modem free of charge. Surely this must mean better/faster broadband??!!

we are getting a new modem and router after the 15th of August. we are going to be losing some of our discounts but for us to go to 50meg a month we are paying an extra £9 a month which is cheaper in the long run

Doing some downloading tonight and getting a throughput of 6MB per second - yes that is megabytes and not megabits.

I cant wait to get it! we asked the guy at the Virgin Media stand in Hamilton town centre about the price drop and he didnt have a clue, so we came in and phoned 150 and she advised us to phone back and order on the 15th august, so we will be doing that!
