I don't mind the recent Go Compare ones. It's interesting to see Wynn Evans as himself, rather than as Gio Compario.

Does anyone think the Viagra advert is a bit odd with a version of Proclaimers I'm gonna be (500 miles) playing?

Holiday ads. Kind of finding them a bit insulting at the moment, since we can't bloody go anywhere - unless you're a member of an SPL fitba team that is...

Could not agree more spleen as an ex player and a UEFA licences coach I feel that elite sport should not be exempt, trouble is other sports are continuing and this is theUK governments way of preoccupying us, it is a scandal, I think we need all sport parking, troops on the street and a curfew, if you need to be out you should have to prove it, I won’t be popular but this is needed for a clear year.

The tosser s in charge aren’t closing the borders until the middle of next week and guess what You or I can’t sack your MP, they can be arrested, break the law, go to prison, get paid and you STILL can’t sack them!

Grrrrr, anyone else want to join me for a Coup on Downing Street with a fucking big cork to ram in that Twat Johnson’s cakehole!

The trouble - as I see it - with ol' Boris the Belllend declaring Martial Law, is this.

What's to stop yer average squaddie just putting down their rifle, changing into civvies, slipping over the barracks fence one night, and just quietly going back home to his/her mammy?

Spleen - people are goring this, the police are invisible and Only concentrate on cyber crime, believe me if a Soldier is stood there asking you the right questions you do not fuck about, as few as there are of them they stick to the rules, no messing about, the point of a Coup is that idiots like Johnson would be in prison and not making decisions, Northern Ireland are leading the way again, and we have to abide by the useless inept ministers/scientists who are making these decisions.

We should still be in the original lockdown, said it then and it’s clear that would have been best, I am a lowly engineer but I know my arse from my elbow.

It’s gonna get worse till we change the Lunatics running the asylum!

By all means, let's have troops on the streets with orders to shoot anyone who violates lockdown regulations.

Spleen - not in my thoughts at all, you don’t like my deterrent, fine why not put forward yours and don’t just slag off my idea,,there is another 1635 people gone in the last 24hrs, is that not enough for you to think we should be stricter, is there a number you think we should react differently to, I am really interested to hear what your thoughts are, maybe you want to continue as is, please tell me!

Believe me, I want things to get back to normal as much as the next person. I'm sick of all this crap, I haven't had a night out in the pub with the lads in over a year.

But what can we do with all the fuckwits who continually, and persistently, break lockdown rules?

Maybe naming and shaming them into behaving would work? Big billboards everywhere with their names and addresses on them.

Thank you Spleen, unfortunately your measures just don’t even start to restrain people, so with the epidemic in London they can all get in a car or bus and travel to me, you and anyone else in Scotland/IrelandWales

We need a deterrent, a physical deterrent, spit checks of people travelling, use of ANPR, and if they continually break the law lock them up, Troops will just possibly make people think twice, if ANY one broke the rules and infected any of my family through their actions I would deal with it in my own way, I can see there is an apathy here, you cannot rely on the PM, Cabinet, Scientists, Police (invisible) there will be other people like me who see this threat, you don’t share my views, that’s fine, shooting people on the spot is not an option but punishing individuals needs to happen and be seen to have happened.

I can only return to our meagre supplied Troops to police our streets, a curfew from say 8pm to midday is perhaps a good way of fighting back over the winter months - this is not a drill this is for real and the shower looking after us are incompetent, in England we are the worst at dealing with this problem by the UK, I as a 61 yr old am genuinely frightened, firstly by the virus and those who are abusing the regs!
