One minute its working the next its not.

That awful advert for Smirnoff where there is the creepy looking barman who mixes a drink with Cranberry & Lime.

Those extra-long American adverts bug me. Don't know how they manage to get on our screens. They last about 5 minutes (no joke) and are normally for hair removal or spot creams and are 'recommended' by certain celebs. They're just so OTT, like, totally!

I have to say those adverts for Pilgrim Cheese are a bit weird and the recent spate of adverts for VW cars.

Haven't had a tv for a while, but Joe and Petunia calling the coastguard, and Reginald Molehusband parking his car are a bit wearing after a while.

I think some of the IKEA adverts are quite clever but not so sure I like the latest one.
'Say no to Gnomes'.
There is something just not right about those evil looking faces.

Not sure I like those Bet Victor adverts.
Maybe if it was just Victor on his own and not Paul Kaye in some of those dodgy outfits.

I hate the 'Skittles' advert where the guy looks like he is milking a giraffe and then he does a kind of weird laugh.

What in the name of the sweet babby Jeebus are those PPI ads with the animatronic Arnold Schwarzenegger head on a set of tank tracks all about? 8O

There's even one on one of them advertising flatscreens in Glasgow Central. Damn near crapped myself when robo-Arnie exploded out of the woman's face...

I tend to record all of my tv programmes now so that I can shift through the adverts with ease to the next installment of my favourite programme.

Those adverts that I need to endure, I often ask myself where the creative genius has gone? I remember great adverts, like the gorilla playing the drums to a Phil Collins sound track. My personal favourite was of a man and woman sitting at home and the woman turns to the man, says the 'dog wants in' as you see the wee dug jumping up at the windae, que pan outside shot and the wee dugs jumping three floors of a tenement or something like it....

The ones that I always enjoyed were the Irn Bru adverts, 'even though I used to be a man' with the woman shaving at the end of the scene. Course it fell victim to complaints 'cause certain ****s don't have a sense of humour....
"Listen, it's too big a world to be in competition with everyone. The only person who I have to be better than is myself. And in your case, that's enough."

Preachin' to the choir, mate. Ads today seem to go out of their way to be bland and inoffensive, cuz there's all these bellends out there who seem to take pleasure in being offended on other people's behalf, even when said people couldn't give a crap.

In my entire life, I've never - NEVER - felt the need to complain about a TV show, a book, a film, an advert or whatever.

I don't like something? I don't watch it. Simple as that.

There was a news story I saw on the BBC website last week about some stupid woman in the US who was getting up to high doh about an episode of the kids program "Maya the Bee", because - apparently - one of the animators thought it'd be a jolly jape to draw a knob on a tree in the background of one shot.

Seriously? Do these folks not have anything better to do with their time than go through a wean's TV show - from about four or five years ago apparently - frame by frame, in the hope of finding something they can be offended by?
