It is said that the wearing of a necktie can be traced back to the days of public hangings, which were a sort of day out,and there would be people selling souvenier nooses, to be worn for the day. I havent worn a tie since hearing that.

Bring back the tie!

The tie was an exageration of the cravat which in turn was a less useful version of the neck scarf used to wipe sweat from the fevered brow of the working man.

No it's not.

well it may or not be true but it is a plausible theory. Did you know that the Birth Certificate is the evolution of the Slavery Bond.

Aye, and it's a plausible theory that you're some bizarre online Turing test.

Evidence please.
"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

Okay, let me re-word what I posted a little. For the benefit of any pedantic forum browser, that post should really have read: "Rumour has it that the Home Office do have a list of people that would be prepared to carry out flogging and hanging duties should they ever become legal again". Of course, the official line from the Home Office would be one of denial that such a thing existed. BUt would you fucking stupid enough to expect them to say anything else? Admittedly, that's about all I can offer in terms of evidence but Dexter, if you can find any evidence to disprove what I posted then let's please be having it.
