I'd have thought that Cumbrae might have floated your boat onyirtodd. You could go a wee bike ride, stop off and have a wee ride, then finish up and go to the pub. Or is a water barrier too much for you

Old people shagging in the outdoors, hmmmmm. The internet is far worse. Back on topic, the Inverkip marina is great, it is a wee strestch of the legs from the train station but well worth it for setting, food and drink.

What about a lovely sprint, sorry I mean walk, along the Clydeside, starting from Hope House @ Clyde street and then on to the Clyde walk, just as it's getting dark, very invigorating and you can show how manly you are as you fend off Glasgows' own living dead. Beat that for quality, although there are many other twilight walking tours in Glasgow that could produce the same results.

Kip Marina is fine but Inverkip village seems to attract more its fair share of arsehole nimbys, some of whom claim they're not a nimby.

Cumbrae has been part of the plan on a number of occassions but has usually fallen foul of the smell of fish and chips (and vinegar!) in Largs. Then the Haylie Brae viewpoint calls and some hedgerowsexual activity answers.
