I saw Anna Lo while I was doing my food shop at a local shopping centre.
She was in front of me at the checkout and was buying a little case like the ones you see business people wheeling around.
I expect Bridie wiil know who I mean and for those who don't she is a member of the Alliance Party over here.

In the last few hours we have had lashing rain, thunder and a flash of lightning.
Expect the golfers will be hoping it is a good week up at Portrush.

More heavy rain and some thunder today.
Thankful our home has not been flooded and we still have electricity.
I believe the Midlands area of England is having bad weather too.
Think they have had floods and huge hailstones.

I saw the Red Arrows from the office window on Friday.
They move so quick and the noise was amazing.

We had heavy, heavy rain all day yesterday.
I don't think there's been a day this "summer" when it hasn't rained.
Quite a few tourists down here - no place really for them to go when it rains - pubs are full
Yes HH,I know

Don't know too much about Anna Lo but seen her talking on local news. She seems an interesting, capable lady - we could do with more of them in politics.

I like the fact the Alliance party have tackled a few things in our area which I feel were of importance.
There were pedestrian crossings put on a very busy stretch of road where it was very difficult for people to cross.
They also got involved in dealing with a sectarian issue several years ago which ended up with a positive result.

Some friends at work spotted the two boxing guys today who were in the City Centre at lunch time.
Yesterday they had been at the Titanic Quarter with their Olympic medals

I have just remembered that I am off work tomorrow.
It's a bank holiday so not need to rush out.

Two horrendous stories in the news this month.
The first was about a woman and her partner who swindled the family of a dying man out of almost £5,000.
The couple concerned approached the family and pretended they needed money for life saving treatment in America.
They then went on to spend the money on holidays.
The next one was about a pet dog who was set on fire after being doused with flammable liquid.
The poor wee thing had to be put down by the vet as it wasn't making a good recovery.

Fabrice Muamba was great on the otherwise cringe worthy Stephen Nolan show.
Well sleepy Fermanagh will be on the map this year
what with the G8 in June and this week the fracking proposal will take a further step towards a decision.
