that should be "other people's bad grammar". or was it an ironic deliberate misspelling?

Oh, and pedants, did I mention them?

Also:

People who, when they ask about your child, and you reply that she was awake at half four, put on a wry smile and say "Oh well, you'll get used to it"

Could these people possibly just f*ck right off?

what else, I'm on a roll:

Gregg's not opening until 10.30 this morning.
My bus nto turning up this morning.
My workmates being c*nts (Sorry for using that word....)
My psoriasis getting worse (it burns! it burns!)

Anyhoo. Nice weather we're having...
Too few hours in the day.

Oh, and people talking about it, asking if I've tried some cream their mother had/ultraviolet light/aromatherapy/acupuncture/copper bracelets/burning it off with a lighter......

In that order: Probably have already/No/I don't believe it will work/No/That's arthritis, which my psoriasis is giving me, so thanks for the advice/That's leeches, go away you strange man...

as i'm being pedantic, it's definitely " people's " not " peoples' ":
http://dictionary.reference.com/help/fa ... marks.html

The apostrophe follows the s for the possessive of plural nouns except for plurals which do not end in s. For example, you would write zebras' stripes, but children's books.

people is a plural noun, in the same way as "children" is.

Every day, an education.

Back in my day at school, grammer was out of fashion. So i never really got taught it properly. In fct it wasn't until I was at High School and doing some languages that I learned ANYTHING at all about grammar...

So, onto the hate list, add, the teaching of English in the seventies.

Good one. How is it that, despite none of us smoking, I came back from the pub at the last HG meeting absolutely stinking of smoke?

should I assume from that that you smoke? maybe it's not every smoker, but at least twice today i walked past people who absolutely fucking stank of tobacco, and they weren't even smoking at the time. if i smelt that bad i'd be scared to leave the house
