Interesting article in the Evening Times concerning the The Suffragette Oak until now I for one have never known of its existence. I wonder if any others have more info?

Can some kind soul enlighten me as to the purpose of this object?
You see it on your right as you come out of Exhibition Centre station before you go for the bridge to the SECC and whatnot.

Do you still get those Print Your Own Business Card machines in stations?
I need some to prevent fuckwits pestering me on long train/bus journeys - "I am reading a book and/or listening to music. This means I do not wish to interact with you in any way shape or form. Please do me the courtesy of shutting your pie hole and getting to fuck. Thank you."
