i never really touched the stuff till i was 18 then over the years after i had a few bad experiences of getting wrecked i figured why go to a night out with the purpose of getting wrecked and not remembering a thing , id rathert go out with my mates have a few pints and be able to get into a taxi under my own steam and remember what wads a great night and be able to remember what the office eejit got up to while wrecked :), many people should follow suit especially the muppet i work with who comes in after a weekend and brags about how much wine he drank then promptly conks out in his chair cause hes knackered

The amount of people that 'go out to get wrecked' is unreal. The whole night is geared toward drinking.

I much prefer the European way of going out, meal, few glasses of wine during the course of an evening.

As previous posters have said, a soft drink can cost more than a pint of beer in some cases!

Most of the neds shown on the Glasgow neds site have a bottle of buckfast or some sort of drink shown in them.

I'm amazed there are so many photos and the author still was alive/owned a camera to upload them and do a website after getting them.

The asda deal

Postby excoriate » Fri Jun 08, 2007 3:58 pm

I really liked the 3 for £20 deal at Asda.
I spread it out over a month or so because I'm sensible....

personally i'm all for binge drinking.

kids have too much pocket money these days, parents give em cash willy nilly. my folks never gave me cash unless it was for something i needed.
luckily once i started work, i had free cash to spend on drink.

its the usual stupid suggestion of 'lets make it more expensive/tax it more', like they apply to motoring or cigarettes. if people want to do it, theyre gonna do it.
why punish hard working folk who like a good salvador?

Bloody right, why not put the money from the obligatory dont drink campaign that will come as part of the price hike into more coppers to catch the b**tards who cause troubble

Talk about free cash for drink, I have a few pics not taken by myself mind you, on this subject only I'm too shy to post them. If anyone is willing to accept them to post, then send me a pm and I'll post them to u.

Sounds ideal, now all we have to hope for is some good weather and the BBQ season can begin in earnest!

Excellent deal i'd say.........
