Was there not talk at one time of the russians producing 'civilian' versions of the TU160 as a supersonic passenger plane?

The bear is a very complex plane with its twin turboprops.. saw something about it on tv not that long ago

Downside was the noise it made.... must have made a crap spy plane if you heard it coming
