Just starting a re-watch of NCIS from season 1.

Holy crap, everyone looks so young - with the possible exception of Mark Harmon who doesn't seem to have aged a day in the last 18 years. Sean Murray (McGee) in particular looks like he's barely left school.

Watching programme with Sean Bean and Stephen Graham as a prisoner and prison officer.
'Time' on BBC1. There are three parts and Stephen Graham's wife also stars.
Makes for a harrowing watch.

The Longest Day (1962).

I'm a bit of a D-Day buff, and I never get tired of watching this.

Favourite non battle scene - fat Unteroffizier Kaffeekanne (Sgt. Coffee Pot) on his donkey, delivering breakfast to the troops at the Atlantic wall. A local watches him go and mutters to his wife something like "There he goes, pride of the Wehrmacht. Where's yer Master Race now?"

I drove to Normandie in 2019 to visit the D-day sites and in St Mare-Eglise they still have a paratrooper hanging from the church tower;

Now don't all be laughing ::): but I have recorded 'Thunderbirds are go' and that's the 1960's version I'm talking about.
I watched them as a child and my youngest son watched them when they reappeared during his childhood.

Hope to watch it soon.

Was watching 'The Anniversary' with Bette Davis and Sheila Hancock.
It was actually in colour which was a surprise.

Still rewatching NCIS. I'm about three quarters of the way through season 10 at the moment.

Wandered on down to my local fleapit yesterday afternoon to see Black Widow. Which was bloody good, well worth watching, I'd quite happily go and see it again.

Missions, late on BBC4, a French sci-fi 10x30min episodes. Watchable so far (episode 4) about a French science mission to Mars, crashes on the planet, meet an US military team allegedly sent to rescue them. Clearly they are the baddies, we'll see :roll:
