'Bloodlands' with James Nesbitt and Lorcan Cranitch.
Set in Northern Ireland so watching to see how many locations I can spot.

Resident Alien.
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

The comings and goings of our illustrious leader and her predecessor  . Living dahn sarf the issue is not plastered all over the printed media, so my understandings of this soap are a bit limited to the web.
BTW The original 1940s Superman and Popeye cartoons are on Talking Pictures TV if you want to watch something sensible.

Along with Flash Gordon, The Lone Ranger, and Zorro.
If they start showing Whirlybirds as well, that's my 70s childhood in a nutshell. :)

Agreed. For a one-man-and-a-dog operation, TPTV are showing some great stuff. Was aware of the Saturday kids clubs in the Govan cinemas, but for some reason never went along to them.

Last night it was 'Line of Duty' filmed in Northern Ireland.
We talk about it in work to see who recognises the locations in and around Belfast.

Had been watching 'Viewpoint' set in Manchester.

Then read about allegations that Noel Clarke has harassment, bullying and other claims against women.

I've been watching "Interpol Calling" on Talking Pictures TV.

It's a half hour crime drama show from the late 1950s, studio based with a lot of stock footage for the location work.
But it's still pretty good. Very much a case of doing more with less.

I think I read that 'Viewpoint' finale was to be shown on ITV Hub.

I suppose they felt they had no choice given the circumstances.

I didn't realise that Noel Clarke had been in EastEnders which is something I don't watch very often.
He was also in the film 'Fisherman's Friends' along with Daniel Mays.

Radar Men from the Moon, on TPTV. Unbelievably awful 1951 sci-fi series (episode 3 of 12 yesterday morning, but for some reason I find it watchable, given that the Cold War was about to start. Men that can fly from a standing start (copied from Superman?) and silly space helmets and so forth.

50 Years of Mr. Men with Matt Lucas.

Even though I think he's a prick and would quite happily kick his head in (long story), I really liked this.
