Just back from seeing it at the Imax in Silverburn. I'd give it a 7/10, I'd put it somewhere above Crystal Skulls and Temple of Doom, just a wee bit shy of Last Crusade standard. Nowhere near as bad as some critics have been putting it. Even a wee boy leaving in front of us was asking his dad, 'why do they slag that film? I thought it was great!'
'Nuff said.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, season 2, ep. 4, "Among the Lotus Eaters".
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

Was watching 'Vanishing Act' about Melissa Caddick from Sydney who was running a Ponzi scheme which think is something like a pyramid scheme.
It is based on true story of a financier who made a vast amount of money from strangers along with family and friends and left them financially ruined.
In real life she disappeared three days after she was investigated by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission but it is unclear whether she killed herself as a severed foot washed up in a trainer on a beach in New South Wales.

It was on ITVX and didn't get best of reviews by some but have watched it now - 3 episodes.

The first episode of "My Adventures with Superman", the new Superman animated series.

It's animated in more of a vaguely manga/anime style than the traditional Western animation style of previous series.

Clark Kent/Superman is at the very beginning of his career as a superhero. He, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen are all roughly the same age and are interns at the Daily Planet.

It's nicely done, lighter in tone than "Superman: the Animated Series" from the mid 1990s.

Been watching that programme 'The Woman in the wall' - it does seem a bit strange in parts with flashbacks and so on.
It is about the abuse suffered in the mother and baby homes also known as the Magdalene Laundries.

Filmed in both Northern and Republic of Ireland and not sure what to make of it.

I started watching it and there are two actors from 'Luther' I recognise.

Henrysix,

I think you are wise.
A girl in work was talking about it today and she thinks it's brilliant. I just kept out of that conversation ::):
I feel like I will continue just to see what the end is.

We started watching that as well, and are also not sure what to make of it. But Ruth Wilson is doing a fine job, so we'll probably keep watching to see how it turns out.

I am glad that the TV series 'Mr Bates vs The Post Office' on ITV1 and ITVX had helped to highlight one of the worst miscarriages of justice in the UK.
I thought this was a brilliant drama but just tragic that so many people suffered so much due to circumstances that were beyond their control.
