And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco.

Frankly, I'm wondering why I bothered. It's so obviously not filmed in San Francisco it's almost painful.

Reading through all these posts makes me an envious, jealous bastard.

3 women in my house: the wife, the recently turned teenage daughter and ten year old daughter and I'm 4th in line to the remote control and so I have to endure chick flicks and re-runs of Full House and Friends.

What I'd give to watch M*A*S*H or an original Taggart....

I'm the only female in a house with husband and son but luckily we've a second tv or it would be golf, darts, football and sci-fi on regular basis.

I do sympathise with you and in case you're wondering we do watch some things together.

Sea Patrol.

It's an Australian drama series from about ten years ago, about the crew of a Royal Australian Navy patrol ship, HMAS Hammersley, as they tackle smugglers, foreign fishing vessels, illegal immigrants, even the odd terrorist here and there.

The episodes are pretty much stand alone, but there's also hints of something larger bubbling away under the surface.

Sailor.

The BBC's landmark documentary series from 1976 about the HMS Ark Royal and her crew.
I popped into my local CeX yesterday afternoon while I was in town, just to see if they had anything interesting. :)

One of my late dad's favourite films. :)

Despite some of it being filmed in the hills above Greenock, I haven't got around to watching this either.

I've never found that remakes of old(er) films work for me. Probably an age thing as the younger folk won't have seen the original versions but the freeview channels seem to favour the latest ones.
