^All you need is a curtain and a magnet - adult etch-a-sketch :)

I got up at 2.30am today to get a glass of milk and managed to dislocate my knee at the top of the stairs then proceeded to fly all the way to the bottom and now I can hardly walk :( I *hate* my knees.

speaking of shitty subjects; if anyone uses the little red bus services 200, 300, and 400 operated by a Bus company based in Clydebank, please do me the personal favour of boycotting these. As the bast**** have just sacked me for complaining too much about the state of their crappy badly maintained death traps. The reason given ?? "your takings are down", how the hell can that be my problem ? did I miss the large hook required to force passengers aboard ?. Use First at least they fix their mistakes. I,ll never work for one of these cowboy outfits again.

Annoying rant over, back to the dole queue.

Nahhh... i only use the blueish & purple ones around renfrew. But will take in consideration your thoughtfull words... BTW, don't your buses around there get inspected? Around here, every 6 months, there they go to be inspected (and my Rover 8 year old, every year there it goes to!)
Regards

Nothing annoying about it mate .. you did the right thing.

I've been blootered from a couple of jobs for refusing to comply with dangerous working practice .. allowing punters in after a fire alarm without the Brigade having been in attendance, overcrowding, being told to turn a blind eye to sexual assault etc.

You might be skint for a week or two but at least you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you didn't cave.

Can't you drop in an 'anonymous' complaint to a regulatory body .. perhaps Alex Glass can advise you as to the most direct route to boot some baws?

A driver on one of those heaps swore at me for asking if they went to Partick :x

Sorry to hear what happened, it sounds like your well shot of them.
What's your plans ? I don't know if First is a much better option :?

With the new SIA licence, you have the 'Duty of Care'... which can work in your advantage in these situations.... you inform the manager and its out of your hands. (I know, you already know this.... its for everyone else reading this though).

Still in the recovery phase at the moment, but will need to look for work soon, havent actually made any plans beyond arranging an interview with the local Job Centre. I was given some advice about a career change option but that seemed more a long term thing than would meet my short term immediate needs.

Thanks for your concern. :(

As for the driver who swore at you, that behaviour gives us all a bad name so complain about him (As long as it wisnea me)
