Never tried it myself, however my wee wife used to work in the chippy in Balloch about 10 years ago and she used to serve any chocolate bar deep fried, even maltesers.

A chip shop in Northern Ireland is now selling deep fried battered sprouts. They are also selling battered chips, deep fried Kit Kats, Twirls, Yorkies and Mars.
I wonder whether there would be a market for deep fried tablet?
Slightly more seriously, why is it that chip shops do sausage suppers but never with square sausages? (As far as I know, that is. I have an ominous feeling that there will be a bundle of people able to say "oh yes they do".)
