Just watched this fine film (got it from Santa).
The soundtrack is tremendous.
The Jesus and Mary Chain ripped off The Velvet Underground in a good Scottish East Kilbridie kinda way. :D

Fair do's!
I don't try to understand films, I just accept that they either make me feel wonderful or not.
Lost in Translation made me feel great for weeks!

It had a soundtrack?? I remember there was an awful lot of silent bits in that film, where nothing would be said for ages! I think that gave it a more intimate feel, but it was definitely different to most films out there at the time. :)

It was actually quite good to see Bill Murray in a semi-serious role for a change too! 8)

His cameo in Space Jam was excellent :) He played himself so well hahahaha

'Larry's not white.... larry is clear'

'What kind of camera is that? Will you not point that thing at me and close the lens cap'

Sorry... get carried away at this time of year.... despite the fact I'm going to work soon!

The jury is out on this one for me as to what kind of film it is.

Going by what I had read I was expecting a side splitting comedy which it isnt although there were a couple of funny bit's, like when the professional lady person demands Murray to "lip" her stockings.

However...

It does make you think about how we communicate with people in our lives.
Probably wont watch it again but I liked it.

It was a bit like Brief Encounter in some respects...... Both Scarlett and Bill nearly having affairs.......
