Super Nintendo! and lego.

What was the best part of playing with the model steam engine Ronnie... burning the meths and making it go or opening the bottle? :wink:

Yes!

I had a set of Afrika Korp plastic soldiers that my dad painted (we're not Nazi's honest!) that I loved. Also Subbuetto (spelling?) and I'm slightly embarrased to say, a typewriter, because I was the sort of weird kid that liked to type out his Subbuetto results.

Matchbox cars & Weetabix packets to make buldings. My brother & I built a model town on an old table.
I also loved Hornby trains, but they were a bit out of our league price-wise. We had to just look at the pictures in the catalogue :(

Brilliant, Mamod made them http://www.mamodonline.co.uk/, had an uncle who had the traction engine and a car, fantastic.
Favorite toy, new bike one xmas, it was great because it enalbed you to go much further than ever before and explore places, it was particulary special because the older siblings never got one and the bikes they did have were handmedoons, I suspected a win on the pools.

The toy I always wanted was a bright yellow "noisy truck" otherwise known as a street sweeper, with a brush you could pull in and out, the only place I saw it was in my Grans Embassy catalogue, never did get it as she sadly passed away however on the up side her and my granpa did have enough coupons for the villa in Spain though.

Bex - I think ours was a home made one.

Emma - it'll be in the attic.

Crusty - Kindly f*ck off. ::):

Great picture! I had that.

Mine would be Lego, including the electric trains which could climb just about
any gradient. :)

Home made, fantastic! now that would be something else, what were it's components?
I bet it was exciting, what with it being home made and using meths, always that possibility of a large flash of meths going up and setting fire to the curtains.
I liked playing with meths, model aircraft and toy soldiers and up at King Kongs Grave.
it's in the Kings Park btw.

Aye maybeez, but not ricocheting of your leg at a hunner miles an hour on a cold winter day, or even having to heed the high baw out of defence.
