ON MY DESK

Postby kn0wledge » Wed Mar 17, 2004 10:29 am

This might sound stupid, but I thought it was kinda fun. My friend started an e-mail survey (which I usually hate, along with all those other crappy joke FWDs) about all the items he had on his desk. They're like wallets, apparently. You can learn a lot about someone from the clutter they work in. So anyway, on my desk, there is:-

One 21" monitor
One 15" monitor
One 27" TV
Two keyboards
Two mice (one optical, one ancient trackball)
One router
One network switch
One modem
One HP iPaq PDA
Spools of 100 CDs
One desk lamp
One lava lamp
One 2AA Maglite
One digital camera
Three watches
3 weeks' worth of the Daily Telegraph
Writing paper
Pens & pencils
Speakers
A little wooden duck thing that my friend carved for me.
A red plastic elephant that came with my first pair of shoes (I keep it for
good luck)
Various port adapters and network cables
Crimpers
A set of watchmaker's screwdrivers
Duct tape
Cable ties
Batteries (probably dud)
An AM/FM radio
A cup of tea.

UNDER my desk, there resides:-

coming soon: One Sun Microsystems SS5
One printer
Large box of assorted tools
Large box of assorted computer parts
A big fucking nest of wires
A chest of drawers
A 12" monitor.

Your turn =p
Eat a ham for Jesus.
