I hate these tiny wee flies that seem to be doing the rounds in our office.
Those things they hung up to zap them do not appear to work and perhaps we need pest control or something.

Nah. Check for bananas in the desks of people in the office who've been on holiday for a couple of weeks.

Josef,

Everyone has keys to lock their desks and not sure I want to think what some folk keep in
the drawers apart from the usual things like highlighters, staples and all.

You probably do have a point though and maybe it is to do with food.

We had a lot of bluebottles in the stairwell in our building.
It's an old building, built at the start of the 20th century.
We got facilities to send out pest control, who discovered a fox had got under the building via a broken air break and died.
That's where the flies were coming from.......

The person in work who was panting like an old horse has how started breathing like Darth Vader.
I was sitting there trying not to laugh but perhaps I should have been concerned for their health.

I tell you there's enough material for a book in that office.

Excellent. We had one of those at one place where I used to work. In fact I was the only one in the office who didn't resemble any member of the Star Wars cast. Nearly got into trouble when I pointed this out to those who were taking the piss, the boss being one...

One of my bosses really hacks me off by arranging a 1:1 every month 12 months in advance and then cancels half of them, the day before they are due to happen in the given month. For the other half, which are timed for 09:00 she is always late! By at least 30 minutes if not more despite the fact I have to travel twice as far to get to the meeting place than her. It's just RUDE.

Indeed.
I still get the yearly appraisals as well and a mid year appraisal plus the monthly 1:1's. Bonkers.
It usually takes me a whole day to fill out the appraisal paperwork.

Now there is a second person I've spotted applying anti-perspirant at the desk.
This time it was a male and there was a flash of hairy chest as he squirted it under his arms.

Is that not what the toilets are for or could they not at least go out to the landing.

Perhaps a visit from Dexter to advise them on fashion and give some tips on etiquette would soon cure the problem.
