I only became aware of this fantastic song and amazing video in a recent Top of the Pops 1978 broadcast on BBC4.

To be honest I have never understood, from a straight perspective, what any female finds attractive about Mick Jagger but the way he delivers the line about 'Queen of porn' changes that. The camera pan at 01:29 is also a thing of beauty.

Cleggy you snickering floppy eared hound when courage is needed, you're ne'er around.

Been listening to this periodically lately;
Camille- La Jeune Fille aux Cheveux Blancs

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6at4ag3KW6s

at a shade over two minutes it's just too brief

Finally, here is a song that could actually do with
'DJ Mix Attention'. Maybe a fifteen minute
version would help my cooking & tea prep?

Reminiscing about Nirvana, who in turn reminisced about the Vaselines. Those of us left reminisce about John Peel. Waah!

"Happiness" by Goldfrapp.

The music video's a bit odd.
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

More Nirvana here, I'm afraid, and particularly Drain You, though I quite like the racket that follows (Endless, Nameless):

Big liar that I am, one more. This band never sounded better than this, and they were in Glasgow when they did it. AC/DC - Bad Boy Boogie. Posted it before, but hey:

Bad Boys indeed. I was just a year or two too young to have ever attended the Apollo.

Safe journey.

I can't believe it was twenty five years last Friday since the great Roy Orbison died at only fifty two years old. His gorgeous wife died only a couple of years ago on the anniversary of her husbands death.
