My memories of Hazel dean will always be the first time i went to Cardinal Follies night club, after paying at the box as entering in to the dance hall this sound came on, as i was turning around to look at the place i felt a soft hand grabing on to mine and draging me on to the dance floor, a beautiful blonde girl was dancing with me before i realized what was happening. A great memory that will always stick in my mind... Thank God for the 80s. :D

Only just found this band and while it's not my usual musical fare I'm rather enjoying them in a talented, nostalgic harmonies type of way.
It's very disconcerting at my age ( nearly middle) to see young men, cavorting around with lustrous long hair and afghan coats, almost like nothings changed.

The dicks are as usual to found in the comments section underneath the video.
"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

Heading towards my 40th I have been reflecting by searching online for stories that I've a small memory of. One of them was a horrible tragedy that befell a young girl very near to where my Grandparents and subsequently my parents lived, in Springboig when I was only six.

I only found one mention of it on News.Google.com which saddened me as I remember it having such an effect on what was a very close community. When widening my search to Google there is one mention; included on a family tree site, that includes the following song which is such a touching tribute. It would be terribly inappropriate to post details here but I thought I would post the song as the lyrics are so beautiful:

Shuggy
Cleggy you snickering floppy eared hound when courage is needed, you're ne'er around.
Those medals you wear on your moth-eaten chest should be there for bungling at which you are best.
