BBC2 Saturday 9th Aug at 9.15pm.

A spectacular theatre drama recounting the experiences of young Glaswegian men in the First World War. We see both staged depictions of the Home Front and the battlefield abroad. Twenty years on from its original staging, this performance still packs the same emotional punch today.
