You know you are getting old when...you see buildings in Glasgow that were built when you were a kid get knocked down again within your lifetime!

Anyone have any other ideas?

... when they have a Grandparent's Day at the school you teach at and you're the oldest person in your class room !

... you end up teaching the children of someone you taught !

... (worse still) you end up teaching the grandchildren of someone you taught !

I seen this one getting built an gave it a 30 year lifespan in the late 70s. :D

when (in summer) you see a half naked young thing (20ish) and instead of thinking ~WOW you think to yourself...why did her mother let her out dressed like that

Good god, what 20 year olds mother would even imagine still being able to exert an influence! ::):

I do often think "you'll catch your death" (my mother may have used that phrase)

That is something I am yet to experience, but I can remember the engineers at work telling me they thought they felt old when they were modernising stuff they put in 30 years ago till some of the buildings were getting replaced, then they really felt old :D
