I'm sorry, WHAT?!?!? Details please! This sounds utterly insane!

What did you have to do, wear a Bear Costume or something?
Too few hours in the day.

Just before R*ver City started, BBC Scotland invited the local residents to a presentation at the Dumbarton football stadium (Strathclyde Homes stadium).

There were all of 3 characters there, including the bearded guy that got married in the first episode and then died (his character I mean).
There was also that mother and her daughter, the ones that were involved with killing, or at lest trying to kill Paul from neighbours.

Chick Cherry's wife, Senga, from Take the High Road, is the mother.
From one pile of crap to another.

Gowd, I starting to sound like a complete saddo here! ;-)

I was bored enough to get their autographs (this was before it stared by the way, so I thought that it may just have been worth it).

They had not yet thought up the name, and when I heard it was River City, I was somewhat dissapointed with it.

I helped get rid of the free food and drink anyway..... *

Ah, but have you ever wandered round the set of a soap opera? I was going to say a "popular" soap opera, but I couldn't quite bring myself to lie, as it was indeed River City.

*I have never actually been in it, but I have certainly walked the dogs round the edges (as I try and avoid golf balls from the golf course) and have seen bits of it. In fact, I must have seen most of it one way or another.

I can also see the top floor of one of the tennements from my house.
One of the rooms has light green walls if that helps anyone identify it ;-)

They sometimes have the lights on all night in some of the rooms, but it is dark right now.

Coming to think of it, they invited us to a free tour of the site.

I never heard a thing about it after that.
I cannot imagine why.

I smacked him with a fishing rod.

He's got a show on Saga FM when it starts next month, so I hear.

Last year, I was a steward down near the old co-op building - halfway between the 10k and half marathon going past, Sir Jimmy powerwalked by, and shook my hand and thanked me for all the good work that the stewards do to keep the runners safe...

I was at an auction recently, and David Dickenson was there filming Bargain Hunt.

I am not too sure if he was wearing makeup, but all I can say is that he was *DARK*.
He looked almost grey, as though covered with coaldust in fact.

Not a trace of orange on him.........

Talking of Jimmy Savile. I saw him running a marathon or something years ago on Queen St using one of those beige brick cellular phones. Quite impressed as those things were not light!

Used to work in Littlewoods in Parkheid  in the distant and horrifying past, and I sold Elaine C. Smith a bargain pack of extra large knickers...
Enjoy them Mary Doll.

Things have gotten better, I'm happy to say.
The Jungle? Yeah, I do kinda miss it...but it's nice to get off the food chain, y'know?
