Christ, I'm starving :o

Too true Morrocomole, it's the best roll shop in the City, always a queue outside but there's loads of girls serving, the Police, railway workers (aye awright) bus depot, Gas board & everyone in the costruction/building game who knowes of it use it, i've never seen anyone able 2 finish 2 salad rolls, cheap too, i was either a 2 buttered rolls with chopped pork or corned beef.

Am slevering :D

Heading to Edgefauld Rd tomorrow morning to buy 2 crispy rolls and chopped pork, but maybe a corned beef one as well.

Who needs sirloin steak when you can have great food like this with a big mug of tea - and its a damn sight cheaper! 8)

The plan was good morroccomole, the idea was sound, but I hadn't quite factored in the other half deciding she wanted to go out for breakfast if I was going, two rolls and chopped ham however I wasn't going to get away with. :?

I ended up at MacDonalds in Finnieston Street, a place I hate, but her car was being serviced at Citroen and she didn't want to sit by herself. So she had some stupid wrap and I ended up with a hot hockey puck that apparently was supposed to be a breakfast bagel - it was mince!

I'm gonna get these rolls if it kills me! ::):

Clark's Dairy must have been there for at least 40 years. Good call.

The occasional burger van outside PC World is worth trying too.
I hear the people sing.

I am learning too much about the pink beefy temptress now...

Some SPAM haikus:

The color of Spam
Is natural as the sky:
A block of sunrise

Pink tender morsel
Glistening with salty gel
What the hell is it?

Old man seeks doctor
"I eat Spam daily," he says
Angioplasty

Pink beefy temptress
I can no longer remain
Vegetarian
Beware of yawning dogs.

Woohoo - I got to Edgefauld Road this morning and succumbed to the temptress of thick, freshly sliced corned beef on 2 crispy rolls with just the right thickness of marg! :D

Arrived at work and immedately got the kettle on, switched the computer on - made a giant mug of black tea with three, count them, three sugars, no sweeteners today and sat at my desk at 8.15 this morning having an early lunch.

Worth every penny of the £2.90, but I'm going to have to ration myself, after all you CAN have too much of a good thing - roll on Wednesday, literally! 8)
