I'm off work tomorrow, so I think I'll maybe treat myself to a late lunch/early tea in the pub.

Another pot of home made Chilli and had some garlic bread needed used up.

BBQ pulled pork and cheesy mash meal from Tesco.

Later tea than usual and had lasagne and garlic bread and am now relaxing with one of those new cans of coffee flavoured
Guinness. Can't say I like the taste or smell of it in particular but they were given to us by a friend.
At least I can say I have tried it.

Not for me I'm afraid but maybe others will love it.
I like coffee and I like Guinness just not together and it's a no from me but I will finish it.

Don't usually shop in M&S but bought a meal deal for £12.00 and had it tonight.

We had steak pie with baked potatoes (already had these in the house).

So sponge pudding for afters which we will have tomorrow and got steak pie along with mixed veg mix including carrots,
baby sweetcorn, green beans and broccoli.
Actually quite tasty I have to say.

Meeting up with my mate Jimmy in the pub after work, so I'll see what takes my fancy from their menu.

Going out on Monday night with some friends so looking forward to being off work and then something nice to eat for tea.

Tea in the pub yesterday afternoon/evening was - a pint of Strongbow dark fruits cider, some cheesy garlic bread, a plate of battered chicken strips with BBQ sauce, and another pint of Strongbow dark fruits to finish off.

Which was very nice indeed.

I like the dark fruits spleen, but have you tried Amstel cider, I’ve been in Hastings all week, been to The Pump House in The Old Town for my sausage & mash, The Conquerors March for a Roast and could well be at The goat ledge cafe today, obviously had the odd fish & Chips during the week!

It’s a long term association we have with the town and you might remember I have bumped into Doon Mackichan more than once when we have been walking our wee dugs! Haven’t seen her this week!

A rarity for me, posting in this thread!

Was through in Leith visiting my daughter, and after a wee trundle around Jupiter Artland, we ended up in Newhaven for tea. When we've been before, we went to the fish'n'chip restaurant (not the Loch Fyne one though!) but last night she preferred the Mexican place there, El Castillo.

Main courses were fine (burrito and enchilada respectively) but they had churros on the menu for afters. Always fancied the look of them when I've seen them on the TV, so we both had them - absolutely delicious!

So much so, I had them again today when we took Herself's cousin out for a birthday lunch at the Boardwalk at the Falkirk Wheel. This time there were 5 instead 3, plus hot fudge sauce in addition to chocolate! Bliss!

Back to auld claes and purritch for the rest of the week!

No tea for the last two days by choice.

We had our big Christmas dinner at home on Monday and then relatives took us out for a meal at a hotel yesterday.
Still feeling a bit bloated. I'd go for a walk but the weather outside is frightful.
I feel a song coming on.
