Is it just me, or have they started adding crappy canned laughter into it now??

possibly. i'm not that keen on Craig Charles' voice-over (bit reminiscent of the crap commentary you get on shite like "Kirsty's Home Videos")

Yeah, or worst of all - 'The worlds funniest Animals', with that so not funny American guy showing clips of animals, sometimes just acting normally.
I think I have only ever laughed at it once, and that was a mistake.

You could do a lot worse than Craig Charles, but you could also do a lot better.

He is at least helpful if you do not happen to understand Japanese.

I'll add a couple that haven't been mentioned

Worlds Wildest Police Videos - Fantastic show, greatest voiceovers ever courtesy of Sheriff John Bunnell, typical example "Even schoolkids know that Jack can be nimble, Jack can be quick, but when Jack runs from the Cleveland PD, he's gonna get burned". Utter genius, especially as they pitch it as educational, so you'll know what to do when the worst happens.

River CIty - yes it was pish at the start, and I didnt watch it for ages after that, but its truly brilliant, farcical like Neighbours, but much quicker, plots only take 4 epsiodes at most. Plus its the first time I've ever heard the word "Bawbag" used in prime time.

Plus a great number of shows previously mentioned...

Yeah, favourites change. This week I will be mostly watching the last ten episodes of 24 (taped them, forgot to watch them), Yes Minister and CSI, the original one, not that Miami crap. Maybe some Powerpuff Girls too.
