The thing is, what I class as my "favourite" will change according to my mood. If I'm in the mood for some comedy, then my favourite TV show wil be something like "Spaced", "Black Books" or possibly "Dad's Army". If I'm in the mood for some quality drama I might watch "Band of Brothers", "House of Cards".
And of course, for some escapist fantasy fun you really can't beat Colour Diana Rigg-period Avengers.
So I'll not add to my list but say that I have many TV shows I like. Many of them I like more than others, some stick in my mind forever, others flit about after I've seen one or two episodes.

looking at those lists you'd think we all had similar interests wouldn't you? Posted: Thu Jul 29, 2004 8:35 pmYes kn0wledge, got to go with The Prisoner. Apart from the physical technology changes, could have been written yesterday, even predated CCTV, wireless, Bluetooth, mobiles, X10, radio tagging etc. Your dates suggests you can see the last few eps on BBC4 (even gave us the Alternative Chimes) when you get back, beats the blurry videos.
And for fun, Fawlty Towers. Still beats most others, and only 12 eps.
Overall, to simple to say the current crop has lost the plot in terms of imagination, but I still find myself only setting the video when the progs come from around the 70's with the ITC pack: Avengers, Champions etc. and the detectives series such as Rockford, Cannon etc. get an airing.
And for fun, Fawlty Towers. Still beats most others, and only 12 eps.

They were *WAY* more amusing than the adults as one or two just went and attacked the blokes in the costumes that were supposed to be stopping them getting through, and they won!

Desert Island discs
can be interesting at times as well, as are many of the different programmes and documentaries that are on the radio.
It lets you fit the pictures in yourself.
Better than Telly any day as you can listen on the move and without having to look.
