Turns out my bridge crossing thing has a name.....gephyrophobia.

Although that's crossing bridges, not driving across high bridges.

Can we stop talking about heights now? I feel dizzy...
Too few hours in the day.

You know when you're driving on the M8 Edinburgh direction and you go through the Charing Cross tunnel...that wall junction that splits off to Dumbarton scares me.
Especially as it exerts an uncanny psycho-magnetic drag that makes you feel like you might just not turn and drive headlong into it...bleurgh!
The Jungle? Yeah, I do kinda miss it...but it's nice to get off the food chain, y'know?

Never mind that, what about cycling UNDER, say, the Erskine bridge and it suddenly gives way.
You would have to move bloody quickly to get out of that one!

Also, being under any bridge and part of it, or something falls off the top of it, right onto you.
I had to walk along Garscube road regularly until recently, and I always had images, as I walked under the motorway bridges of that happening.
Walking along and looking up constantly tends to attract attention to yourself though.

The other thing is masonry falling off a building onto you.

In otherwords, I do not like things falling on me.
Falling off things is ok, but things falling on me......
I can always rely on this forum to make myself feel about 10 times worse than I did before
