Once you've had some great lovers and done the "relationship" thing/thang - then being single is great.

You can't put a price on freedom and your life being your own. Life's too short to be bogged down in the cold light of day.

But maybe i've become cynical. No, Really?

Totally agree, this is the first proper time ive been single since i was 18 and its great :)

There are a lot of lonely people stuck in relationships/marriages. At least if you are lonely and singular - then the loneliness belongs to the individual and they can at least say the feeling is their choice. It isn't a compromise of obligation and they can act upon it when they so choose.

Something about two positives interacting and returning to base rather than an imbalance of obligation. I'm very far from there - but I've learned to keep my distance and be at peace with what has been and gone (if i remember to be).
