The machine is owned and operated by Bond Helicopters and is provided under contract to Police Scotland.
It's piloted by ex commercial or defence force pilots, and crewed by a police navigator and spotter providing 24-7 coverage. Any police officer on the ground can request Air Support assistance .
Bond also operate the Air Ambulance helicopters
It's my understanding that Gama Aviation run the Air Ambulance copters? Or do they in turn sub contract?
