'I drove her away with my tears' sung by Paul Heaton and Jaqui Abbott.
Just heard it on tv for first time today but it's on You Tube.

Fantastic pairing those two Dot, I’m writing a country song at the moment, just got the title sorted, it’s important to have a relative, a famous place, an illness or death or murder by an obscure character with an infirmity, so listen out for

“ My granny drowned in a grotto at Lourdes, she was pushed in by a hunchback”

Henrysix,

::): ::): You can let me know the release date later. Will it be out in time for Christmas?

Yes I liked their songs in 'Beautiful South'.
I am not really a big Country music fan though I do like like Dixie Chicks.

Listening to "Bright Magic", the fourth studio album by Public Service Broadcasting.

Kind of mildly obsessed by the track 'People, Let's Dance.
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

Yes banjo it makes a change when you see what prices some tickets are going for. 8O

Went to see Paul Carrack on Wednesday night in Belfast.
I didn't know all his songs but 'Over my shoulder' certainly went down well with the crowd.
He had two drummers and two guitarists along with him and the Sax player was amazing.

Know what I heard on the radio at work the other day?

"Waterfront" by Simple Minds.

By God that's a tune and a half! Forty years old and it sounds like it could've been made yesterday.
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

The Creeping Spleen,

Good choice of music there.

Recently I heard 'When Spirits Rise' which is probably a lesser known track by Simple Minds.
It's a short piece but I do like the bagpipes.

"Uprising" by Muse.

Maybe this is just me, but the intro sounds like it could be Doctor Who music.

Yesterday I was in the car driving back from the shops when 'I am your mother, you listen to me' came on the radio.
I listened to it again today on YouTube and it's by Meghan Trainor - quite a catchy tune I thought.
