I got my blue envelope this morning! Jag date at the Louisa Jordan set for 15 March, which is better than the NHS Scotland calculator suggested - that said it would be sometime late April/early May. :)

Went well I thought. Bish bosh, in and out again in twenty minutes.

My only hassle was having to get a taxi to the vaccination centre. Damn near an hour I was standing at the bus stop, waiting on a McGills 901. *shakes fist at Easdale brothers*

Anyone remember the photos of the backs of a couple of McGills buses which had been photoshopped to add quite rude comments. I'm sure that I picked them up from here a few years ago?

Hope your jab went well banjo.

Which one did you get?

I got my date booked online at local hospital on Saturday and got AZ.
Have friends who went to other hospitals and got Pfizer.
Actually it went a lot better than I expected.
I don't like getting injections or giving blood samples but staff couldn't have been nicer.

I hope if this virus ever goes away that people will appreciate NHS a bit more.

I got the AZ too. The chap at the Louisa Jordan (aka SECC) said that they were giving the Pfizer mostly to front-line staff. My dentist said they've all had both jags of Pfizer.

I felt OK on the AZ, just a wee bit rough the next day; but the missus was very poorly with uncontrollable shivers, headaches and really sore legs during the night, so much so that she had to stay in bed the next day.

Hope it passes soon Grahame, people are saying the second jag seems to have more side effects.

I thought the AZ was OK on the second one, it's the Pfizer that's supposed to be worse?

Henry, let us know how your second one went?

Grahame went ok, feel tired but been at work all day, lady told me to keep and photograph my wee card as it might be useful in the future to show you have had the jabs, if you were ok with the first you shouldn’t have a problem, if anyone struggles with it can I have your cup final tickets!
