My OH has bought me a boat ticket a part of my 50th birthday present, so I will be Island-bound in the early hours of June 1st, just in time for the first races on June 2nd, Mad Sunday, and 12 whole days of T.T. madness!

I know this has sweet F.A. to do with Glasgow, but I'm really, really fuckin' excited!!!!!

So there!

B - if you're going to be in IoM during the TT season and you haven't already got somewhere to stay, my guess is that it might be a good idea to take a tent.

We (my mate and I) both have a goodly number of friends there, many of whom have already offered to put us up; so in itself somewhere to stay isn't a problem.

Being party animals 1st class, though, it would be kinder on our friends if we have our own place to crash, even if it does end up being a tent!! Lots of places to try yet though.
