A finial fell off our roof and landed near our front door.
I suppose it is lucky that the milkman or postman weren't delivering at the time.

I expect because it is an old house that years of wear and tear and the great weather we have just caused it to rot.

Sat down on the floor on sunday to fix a punctured tyre and my hip nearly dislocated. Couldn't walk for hours it was so damned sore. Nearly back to normal but god it's making me feel old!! that and, well, what if it had dislocated....!!! ? eek!
