You know, i have tried a wide variety of stuff that has had no effect in reducing the pain. Might give sour cream and chive a try today!

I'm really worried about my diabetes.

After months and months of it being ridiculously high (30+mmol/l .. it shouldn't ever be higher than ten, it's been so high that at times my glucometer just said HI .. no actual number .. just HI) it's now always dropping too low.

It shouldn't drop below 4mmol/l (if it does the literature recommends a visit to casualty) and mines is often around the 3 mark leaving me dizzy and light headed and covered in cold sweat.

It was 2.8mmol/l at half six this morning coming off the exercise bike ... I really hope I'm not going to end up insulin dependant. That's all I bloody need.

6 am - If that was before breakfast and you were excercising, no wonder your numbers went down.
Probably best to see the specialist if you have one., poss oral medication but as you say could be the jab

( gives you a girlie bum !)

The low readings can happen at any time during the day mate. They usually strike at night though .. the particularly low reading this morning may well have been down to exercise but it's still bloody low.

I'm already on Metformin and Gliclazide .. if they're not doing the needful then the only route left to go down is insulin jabs.

I wouldn't mind getting a girly arse .. it would give me something to feel up in bed on a Sunday morning.
