I got new pants for Christmas.

My wife bought me new pants too. Unfortunately she's bought briefs instead of boxers. I'm not sure if I could get used to them after all these years of 'freedom to move'.

I don't think you have much choice in the matter. If your wife bought you briefs instead of boxers she's done it for a reason and you'd be foolish to ignore her reason.

anyone else noticed that the stv competition is wrong? it says hogmanay 09 but as i was aware this is hogmanay 08 as we're not in 09 yet and hogmanay is the last day of the year.

Hubby out playing music tonight and I'm home with my two boys.

Anyone hear on the news today that there is to be an extra second tonight for revellers to enjoy New Year celebrations? Something to do with rotation of the earth and clocks being out of step.

i'm feeling down coz its been 14 years since my papa died,and i only knew him for 10 years

they day he died was the day Celine Dions Think Twice came out or well the first time i heard it and to this day i still cant listen to it without crying. I was in Blackpool when i got told my papa died and every year i find the 1st Jan so hard. I know you wpnt find anything

i still miss him so much

he was a camera digger for STV and i was the mascot for the same but i havent found anything to say i was. but not worry, i got a teddy from stv that was real fur and dyed pink for my birth.


was anyone working for STV at that point and could help place a few mysteries?!

Hi Nutty, I know how you feel at this time of year. I lost my Granny 7 years ago around this time, and then my Mum passed away just over a fortnight ago. I think this time of year just naturally reminds you of the people who aren't here to join in the fun any more.
I hope like Brigit says, you've got someone's shoulder to cry on.

Remember that whoever you have lost and under whatever circumstances they would want you to be happy and for to have fun. They should be remembered and you should celebrate their life with a as much vim and vigour as you see fit,.

brigit it was my Grandad that died on New Years Day. my Dad is still alive and well!

i'm feeling better now but i never got to go to his funeral and i have never been to the rememberance garden where he was cremated. too scared to go to tell the truth
