We want a venue in or near the West End for a 40th birthday party.
Whatever the venue - we have two young children (It's their mother's birthday) and she wants them to be there but - in the old days kids could remain with the parents or adults, as long as they were not 'drinking' or in the bar area.

We're getting conflicting reports now that regardless of where we go - the kids will have to leave by 10pm. Can anyone tell me what are the rules and of a place that would accomodate around 60 - 80 of us?

Id reccomend Partick bowling club, i was at a party there last year, and they allow kids up until 10pm(local licence laws i think dont allow later). It a nice venue, plenty of dance floor space and cheap drinks. and they let you do your own buffet if required.

give them a call.

Partick Bowling Club
