Got a Deep Fat Fryer and a pizza Try this Crunchy Pizza

Got a Pizza oven? Try Pizza Fritta - traditional Neapolitan deep-fried pizza

"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

You shouldn't be eating anything while you're having a yank. Concentrate on the job in hand.

I know it's not glasgow, but the Royal Fish & Chip Shop pin Brandon Street Motherwell do Red Puddings, along with White Pudding and the traditional Black Pudding supper - spotted it on the board at lunch time wasn't tempted though based on the descriptions elsewhere in this thread

A little bit out of Glasgow, but anyway... Equi's in Hamilton did a 'pizza crunch', just a battered deep-fried pizza complete with greasy chips!

At school we called it the Death Box! haha... I remember having to carefully handle the box incase some of the grease/oil dripped out the box over my shoes. ::):

And enough salt make even the most hardened fast food junkie have second thoughts.

Tonight is my obligatory one night off my diet a week, and I popped into the chippy for a special fish supper .. was waiting for the fish to fry and a wee girl walks in with two of her elfin little partners in crime and asks for three deep fried Cadburys Caramels.

I thought I'd misheard her as I had one earphone in listening to music while listening out with the unplugged ear for the bloke telling me my grub was ready .. but nay, none of it, not at all and nicht!! .. she had indeed ordered three, battered deep fried Cadburys Caramels and not only that but, horror of horrors, when they appeared on the counter, all crispy battered and melting away all ooooozy like in their little polysyrene trays one of the little minxes asked if she could have two extra sugars on the batter!! 8O

"Surely not?" I thought, thinking the Iranian (?) chippy bloke, who is quite a nice bloke really, would say something sweary in Iranian and chase them for being so silly but nay, nay and thrice nay - he did not.

No, what he did was pull one of those sugar pourers that you see in diners in American movies out from under the counter where he keeps the salt and vinegar and pickled onions and shizzle and proceed to liberally dose each of the battered diabetes nurses wet dreams with yet more sugar.

Be still my heaving alimentary tract .. it's almost enough to put a bloke off his special fish supper.

Almost.
I like him ... He says "Okie Dokie!"
