Stefanos in Drumry Road Drumchapel do a chocolate pizza! With an extra of a name added for an extra £1.50.In white chocolate I understand. All the Drumchapel chippies do various pizzas in batter. The most heart attack inducing deep fry was watching Cadburys Creme eggs getting the deep fried in batter treatment. I suspect just now they are out of season.

Dear sweet baby Jesus .. I'm not known for my culinary fussiness (I'd eat a rotten hind leg aff a scabby horse if hungry) but nothing .. NOTHING.. would tempt me to consume that shite.

Any help for South Side purveyors?

I've got a handful of Londons up ( mixed ages) , was planning to visit Queens Park Monument & Glasshouses and then head to Shawlands.

Might be nice to get them a healthy tea?

Not against a sprint to Yoker or Drumchapel areas for deep fried surpriese, but any G43 type offer would be welcomed.

I was in the King's Cafe, Elmbank Street, a couple of weeks ago.

According to the menu they do deep fried pizzas and an assortment of deep fried chocolate confections.

It being 9am I contented myself with a roll and square slice. Which came with about a pound of margarine.

Just like mama used to make.

Aye, Stork was what we had. I think my mum thought buying Stork was a bit posh.

Fecking hated it. Still do. Just Use Butter.

I'm with you up till the chippy sauce :|

I sometimes wonder if I'd still like the things, as I've not tried one in many a year, but I fear I'd be too embarrassed to actually ask at the counter...

when I first heard Bryan Ferry sing These Foolish Things I misheard the line 'wild strawberries only 7 cents a kilo' as 'while Stork was only 7 cents a kilo'.
