Used to go regularly under-age to Illusions in Milngavie, sadly now an Italian restaurant, Andiamo. The game was to avoid the gaze of the head bouncer Fenwick. If you caught his eye it was curtains!

First proper session in town was at a nightclub I've forgotten the name of upstairs on Union Street. It may have been replaced by the Cathouse?
Anyway, I had Midori and Pernod that eve and have never since repeated that experience.

i had my 1st pint in the fox on maxwell road, was a fosters and i've never looked back. i'm 18 in 3 weeks

Not really a beer drinker, mine was a pint of cider & blackcurrant & it was had at Crystals in East Kilbride

First of many- If I was skint that is. If I was flush it would be a double vodka and a half a can of Red Bull, my pal being the recipient of the other half of the can of red Bull. Then we'd sweet talk the bouncers and bribe the DJ with Chupachup lollies and monopolise the dance floor for the rest of the evening. Ahhhhh the memories.
