toughie: big CAFE for wedding reception

Postby clarence5 » Thu Jul 03, 2008 11:11 pm

i'm getting married and would really like to have my evening reception in a big cafe somewhere where people can sit around and play board games and drink good coffee and perhaps get an alcoholic drink if they want... but a lot of my guests are t-total and/or not the average pub/disco types.

looking for somewhere cosy feeling but big enough for about 100 people.

tall order i know... any ideas?!?!?

When is the wedding? Cafe Bayan in the West End should be ready for oppening over the next few months. There is also a private room at West Micro Brewery, the food is good & I imagine that they will keep you supplied with Tea & Coffee. I think 'Sloans' in the Argyle Arcade also have a private room.

When is the wedding? Why not think venue first and then get catering.
Try Adelaide's on Bath Street. Ask for Sandy.

Cafe Bayan looks closed - has looked closed for last three months. In fact I don't think it has ever been open.
