I got a menu throught the door for a local Licensed Tandoori Restaurant. It had this list in the "western Dishes" section:

I don't think you'd find many of them in The Western World apart from Scotland.
"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

One of the guys in my office sometimes brings back a pizza that has been dipped in batter and deep fried. 8O

No probs Sharon ::):

Although I must clear one thing up - deep fried pizza is only edible when battered! The batter stops the base getting greasy :wink:

Greetings,
Apologies for bursting into someone else's thread, but I'd have to say Pizza Crunch Mini-Supper should be available from the better outlets for no more than £1.40 during school lunch-breaks.

Separately – amongst others - the Ceqwa in Thornwood offers the double dunt kebab-pakora.
Add a Kundle, wash'em down with a Strike Cola and you're wired to Dunoon.

My arteries are tightening just reading this thread 8O
As for shite and chips, I reckon 'Chips, Cheese & Bolognaise' about covers it. What comes out'll be indistinguishable fi what went in...

The Scottish cuisine makes more sense than 'Chicken Maryland' ubiquitously listed in the 'European Food' section of many a Chinese/Indian take away...
