Indeed. All part of Billy McAneney's quest for world domination. I hope it does well this time. Nobody, so far, seems to have been able to make a go of that site.

anyone tried teh new burger place in ashton lane?

think its called ketchup (prob a chain) and pretty sure its in the old cul de sac unit.

I'm not sure it's a chain but the name might have been borrowed from the late Ketchup Burger joint in Los Angeles.

Ketchup is part of the G1 Group.JAM on Kilmarnock Rd has turned its Restaurant bit into one with a sperate entrance on Pollokshaws Rd.Not tried it but intend to tommorow and will do my duty and report my findings.

I don't think the Stirlingshire or Merchant City outlets are franchises - they are owned by the company founders.

The Arriba Arriba burger is my favourite for Sunday morning/afternoon recovery.

the ketchup milkshakes are good but the price for a burger and sans chips!!!!

I also dont generally like the service in G1 places...if you can call it that

I'm with you on the G1 places, they give me the horrors but when there is a 2 for 1 burger offer on the go it has to be taken, then into the Granary to wash it down. :mrgreen:

Oh im with you on that one!

Linen is good on a sunday, sorry off topic! Not tried their food tho
