drank in a lot of dodgy pubs that have been stated on here from Bar-l so the Caravel was ok to us locals but one thats been mentioned here but no longer around the Cart on corkrhill road went with friends from south side said pubs okay now after getting rid of the neds,gangs etc its a great night went to toilet and saw a guy getting stabbed quick exit

Chandlers.

A BANKIE barman put lives at risk when he illegally diverted electricity from the national grid to his boozer.

Joseph McCormack used copper wire to keep the power flowing into Chandlers after it was cut off.


it should be noted the Manager is from Possilpark which has yet to be offloaded to West Dumbartonshire Council.

Way back in the early 70's I worked as a steward in the White Elephant in Sauchiehall street but I used to meet up with fellow stewards and bar staff at the Muscular Arms before starting work. This pub was owned by Unicorn Leisure who also owned the White Elephant. What I would love to know is what became of the Musky, it was a very trendy and busy pub. Did it continue? or was it sold off? love to know, thanks

Passed the Hurdy Gurdy last Wednesday afternoon, was closed (although maybe still opened at night/weekends?).
